To A Land Unknown

The stakes couldn’t be higher for displaced Palestinian refugees Chatila and Reda in this knife-edge drama. The cousins are saving to pay for fake passports to get out of Athens, but when Reda loses their hard-earned cash to his drug addiction, Chatila hatches an extreme plan to pose as smugglers in an attempt to get them out of their desperate situation before it is too late. Memoir Of A Snail

Filmed entirely in secret this film centres on a family thrust into the public eye when Iman is appointed as an investigating judge in Tehran. As political unrest erupts in the streets, Iman realizes that his job is even more dangerous than expected, making him increasingly paranoid and distrustful, even of his wife Najmeh and daughters Sana and Rezvan. The cast includes Soheila Golestani, Missagh Zareh, Setareh Maleki, and Mahsa Rostami and the film is directed by Mohammad Rasoulof.

The Fire Inside
