Description

Bough Beech is a haven for wildlife and is a 42 hectare reserve that has many bird species throughout the year and is home to other wildlife including toads, dragonflies and great crested newts and there are also grazing animals at the reserve. The Kent Wildlife Trust did manage the reserve, but they are withdrawing and at present, it is unknown who will take over its management.

Wheelchair accessible for circular 1km trail, though kissing gates and ground is uneven and may be muddy. The bird hide is accessible.
