Description
Charity events in Kent include the Sponsored Bluebell Walk in aid of the Heart of Kent Hospice in Aylesford. The walk offers a choice of picturesque routes, including the longer six-mile ramble, which takes in the stunning bluebells in the enchanting woodland on the North Downs. There will also be a route that bypasses the stiles at Lower Dean Farm, with both routes taking walkers amongst the beautiful bluebells and woodland. Cold drinks are available at the two-mile mark, four-mile mark and a designated picnic spot.
The Bluebell Walk is perfect for everyone, and there will also be an additional one-mile route, ideal for little legs and those who prefer to enjoy a shorter one-mile route. Dogs can go along too, so all the family can help raise funds and enjoy a great walk among the wonders of the Kent countryside. The charity fundraising aims are, "With the unwavering support and generosity of our local community, we are confident that we will achieve our goal of raising £70,000, to enable us to continue providing exceptional care to the growing number of local people who rely on our service,” says Hospice Events Manager Maisie Bass.
Sign up for the six-mile Sponsored Bluebell Walk and get a free Heart of Kent Hospice branded water bottle. Plus, if you raise £50 for the hospice through sponsorship, you will receive a Bluebell Walk T-shirt!
