Description

Down House is the family home of the scientist Charles Darwin where he wrote On the Origin of Species. You can see the study he wrote in, the Sandwalk, the ‘thinking path’ where he strolled to ponder on his work and life, his gardens where he made many of his observations on the world, and lots more, including manuscripts, notebooks, and family treasure.
