Description
Events at Fort Amherst Chatham, Kent, offer a range of activities for those looking for family fun and things to do and see in Kent, alongside their regular tunnel and spooky tours. There's the Bee Happy Adventure trail for the school holidays, where little ones can hunt for the seven bees hidden around the fort and learn all about them. There's the Fort Amherst Family Fantasy Festival where the tunnels are a transformed into child-friendly fantasy world of make-believe and science fiction. Dress up is encouraged! Plus don't miss the Spare a Fort for Bees event where you can meet the fort's hive inhabitants, the 4 Paws weekend of woofy fun, and join Henry VIII for a hog roast at their Divorced, Beheaded, Died experience.
See our VE Day Events listing for details on their celebrations for this historic event.
