Join Mr Borrett and Mrs Hills, Lady Baillie’s most trusted staff members, as they work to bring order back to the chaos. In this interactive trail, you’ll solve riddles, tackle challenges, and uncover the secrets behind the curious disturbances.
Easter
Enjoy an experience filled with springtime activities, enchanting scenery, and festive surprises.
The Queen's Joust
Enjoy this annual medieval jousting event for the May bank holiday and experience an exhilarating display of combat and action, elegant and unusual equestrian, and medieval living and feasting. Gasp as lances crash, cheer for your champion, and watch as jousters representing England, France, and Norway battle for the coveted cup - and the queen’s favour. In true jousting tradition, the victor isn't chosen for their skills alone! If the queen deems a knight unworthy, she may choose another, with armour, charm, and honour all playing their part.
This year, a new French team for the first time. Adding to the excitement, each team will feature a Female Jouster. Throughout the day there are lots more activities including medieval music and dance, and more.
