Description
This vibrant event offers a plethora of free activities, including a captivating parade, a hilarious comedy show featuring acrobats, dance, and puppetry, and many more exciting events throughout the town, such as at The Pantiles, The Clock Tower, Trinity Theatre, Royal Victoria Placeand Calverley Grounds.
With productions, talks, and workshops there's plenty for everyone. The Cackle Street Cats enchant audiences with their spellbinding songs, delightful dances, colourful costumes, and adorable cat puppets who concoct potions and fall in love! Macbeth Mute deconstructs Shakespeare’s tragedy using bodies, objects and fake blood.
Enjoy the musical talents of the five-piece band Improbable Sessions, joined by special guest puppeteers. Additionally, Pinocchio comes to life with paper characters in a Victorian-style toy theatre from Turkey, and Lottie, The Traveling Doll is inspired by an event from the life of Franz Kafka. With renowned puppeteers conducting insightful talks, including an Avenue Q workshop, and lots more.
