Boat trips restart in April 2021.

Boat trips aboard the Kentish Lady between Maidstone Town and Allington Lock offer not only rivers views but also commentary of the sights you pass including Corpus Corpus Christi Hall and Maidstone's oldest pub dating back to 1636 , and past Allington Castle where Henry VIII used to meet Anne Boleyn. The journey is 30 minutes each way.

Boat Trip to Allington Castle

Castle not normally open to the general public, trip includes boat trip around a one and half hour guided tour of the Castle and return trip.

Accessibility

Kentish Lady is accessible, however, trip to Allington Castle includes steps, slopes, uneven and grassed areas which may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
