Description

Isle of Grain Coastal Park is often overlooked as visitors to Grain tend to see the industrialised area and go no further. The Friends of Grain Coastal Park advise you drive on to walk the 2 miles of shoreline, cockleshell and sandy beaches and see the ancient forts. It is also a view that the painter, J W Turner, used for one of his works, The Fighting Temeraire.
