Looking for family fun for the school holidays? Check out the May kids' events at Hever Castle in Edenbridge, Sevenoaks in Kent. Play, dancing, live actors and lots more for the May Day Weekend and May half term, with Art Week.
May Day Weekend
Dance around the Maypole with brightly coloured ribbons intertwined, take part in an interactive traditional May Day play, and join the lively tug of war, as we cheer for the Summer King to claim his crown!
Art Week
Lots of creative fun for children during the May half term with painting or photography, with art challenges. Actors will help visitors create masterpieces, pose with props, and enjoy face painting at weekends. Plus, explore inspiring sculptures in the Italian Garden.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on a lead at all times in the grounds. Except assistance dogs, dogs are not allowed inside the cafés, restaurants, shops, castle, or play areas. There is a stand where dogs can be tied and left in the Castle Courtyard if you wish to visit the castle, but this is not supervised.
