Half-Term History Makers
Join characters from the past for heritage-inspired hijinks and hands-on shenanigans at the castle where you can embark on a journey through time with the Happening History's marvellous magic lantern show. Enjoy a visit full of entertainment, Victorian style. Witness the wonders of the first-ever moving images and experience the magic that captivated audiences over a century ago.
Easter Adventure Quest
Little ones can hunt and crack the clues hidden around the grounds during the Easter school holidays, and enjoy a delicious chocolate reward!
Big Brick Build
During the Easter holidays head to the castle and get creative with our master builders and help bring heritage to life with LEGO® bricks for the Big Brick Build event. Travel back to Roman Britain and help the castle recreate its Pharos, England's oldest lighthouse in brick art form. Once you've worked your magic, watch as the expert builders put all the pieces together to reveal the lighthouse as it may have appeared in its former glory.
