Description
Kingsnorth Gardens in Folkestone is an ornamental garden with a rich history, that started its life as a rubbish dump site, until the early 20th Century when locals began to complain and suggested the area be used as a site for a new town hall, but due to expense, the gardens were formed. The garden features an array of styles such as pink spring foliage Acer trees, ornamental ponds with water lilies and fountains, statues, alpine rockery, and a weeping ash tree. The ponds are also home to wildlife such as fish, frogs, and newts.
