Description

One of only a few sandy beaches on the Isle of Sheppey, Leysdown Beach is popular and a regular recipient of the Seaside Award, run by the Keep Britain Tidy Group. Usually has RNLI Lifeguards during peak Summer season.

Dogs
Dogs not allowed between 1st May to 30th September: the beach from an imaginary line at 90 degrees from Stokes Amusements, eastwards to an imaginary line at 90 degrees from the west of the beach steps opposite the small roundabout at the seaward end of The Promenade Road, Leysdown.

Advisory Notes
Children should only enter the water when they’re with a responsible adult.
