‘Medway, Together Stronger’ by Mona Whitton, Matt Wass and Charlie Noel illustrate the five coronavirus safety messages: wear a mask, pay with a card, stay indoors if you have symptoms, wash your hands, and keep your distance. Medway Council commissioned these five statues to highlight the importance of these messages. There are five statues around the area, one at the Chatham Bus Station,  Rochester War Memorial, Gillingham High Street at the junction of James Street and Friary Place, Strood. Each statue is made up of steel nuts and washers, welded together to form a 'cage' around a glass heart.
