Description
St Andrew’s in St Peter’s first foundation stone was laid in 1910 and has been a significant part of the community, with a chancel screen installed in 1920 that commemorates Reading Street villagers who did not return from the Great War. For most of its existence, it was a daughter church to St Peter-in-Thanet but became a parish in its own right in 2011, its centenary. Dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle.
