Description
St Laurence Church was founded as early as 1062 and is the oldest church in Ramsgate. Extended in the 12 and 13th Centuries, it is built mainly of flint and Caen stone and the Victorians are credited with the stained-glass windows. The East Window is in commemoration of the fact that Queen Victoria worshipped in the Church as a child. It's churchyard covers three and a half acres.
