Description
St Thomas à Becket church is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, as this small Wealden church as existed before 1180 and may stood on its knoll for at least 900 years. Becket himself is said to have preached at the church and it has extensive medieval wall paints which cover most of the nave.
