Description
This statue of comedian Dave Lee, who was born in Broadstairs, and a veteran of TV and theatre was particularly known for his pantomime work. He set up the Dave Lee Happy Holidays charity in 1995 to offer handicapped and deprived children in Kent help towards holidays for those in need and their families or guardians. It raised over £2 million. He died in 2014 and his statue, by sculptor Dominic Grant, was unveiled by actress Brenda Blethyn.
