Description
The Retreat Animal Rescue in Ashford has over 1,000 animals at any one time. The sanctuary offers a home to a range of animals including ex race horses and riding school ponies, injured live export sheep, ex-petting farm goats, injured birds, ferrets, Christmas turkeys, worn-out battery hens, disabled non-releasable wildlife, fish, small domestics, old or feral and FIV cats, and dogs who have failed behaviour tests in other dog homes. Some of the animals are rehomed, if not they stay at the rescue. They also offer personal tours and host events.

Tours: £130 for 2 people.
Advisory Notes
All-vegan rescue and sanctuary so please do not take any non-vegan foods and drinks. Tours not suitable for wheelchair users, and no children under 10 years.
Dogs
On lead at all times. Not allowed on tours.
