Description

Part of the Salomons Estate the museum is formed from two ground floor rooms and packed with fascinating exhibits that chart the history of three remarkable generations of the Salomons family, with collections of paintings, photographs and mementoes documenting the history of the family. Their heritage covers Sir David Salomons, the first Jewish Lord Mayor of London, who campaigned for the political rights of religious minorities; Sir David Lionel Salomons, a scientist, engineer, photographer and inventor; and Captain David Reginald Salomons, whose self-sacrifice during World War I has been dramatised in The Dreamers, a West End musical.
You can also enjoy woodland walks and laser challenge experiences at the Estate.
