Description
Tunbridge Wells abounds with unusual outcrops of sandstone rock formations dating back millions of years. These impressive rocks are now a National Monument but many thousands of years before stood a stone age camp. There are acres of sandstone rocks entwined in the beautiful countryside, providing scenic walks in picturesque woodland. The rock is so named because of its appearance, like a giant toad and can be found in Denny Bottom, near Rusthall Common. See nearby Wellington Rocks too.
