Description

White Horse Wood Country Park is set within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers amazing views of Kent’s renowned countryside, or visit the Ash Project and Thurnham Castle in the park. A Site of Nature Conservation with over 20,000 trees planted, 5 hectares of land for open grassland and it is an important habitat for a range of usual flora and fauna. Lots of walking routes and great views.

The main path is flat and wheelchair friendly and allows you to navigate most of the park.

Bearsted Station – 1.5 miles.

Additional Notes
Access to the Country Park is via the southbound carriageway of the A249 at Detling Hill. Access to the Country Park is via the southbound carriageway of the A249 at Detling Hill. There is no access through the village of Detling or Thurnham.
