Description
Windmill Hill and Windmill Gardens is the highest point above Gravesend and where visitors can see over the Thames and the town, and also find a World War I Zeppelin bomb site and a beacon commemorating the advance of the Spanish Armada. At the bottom of ornamental gardens, there is also a memorial commemorating those who lost their lives in World War I and II. With tennis courts and a children’s play area.
