Description
Haydsen Country Park in Tonbridge has a range of habitats including river, grassland, freshwater lakes, marshland and woodland in its 160 acres. The site is designated as a Local Nature Reserve and in part a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. It has also been a Green Flag Award winning park since 2006 and is a Natural England accredited park. It has a natural play area, waymarked and nature trails and cycling paths.
Accessibility
There are surfaced paths on the site, and access to a viewing platform. Accessible walks - the best accessible paths are compacted surface paths around Barden Lake. A shorter walk is available from the car park past the Stone Lock Seating is available around Barden Lake.
