4. Carols by Candlelight & In the Park

Get into the festive spriity with Carols from The Canterbury Singers in this beautiful, ancient, listed church in the heart of the cathedral city. Enjoy hot drinks and mince pies too!

In the Park

Where: Ellington Park, Ramsgate
When: 21st December, refreshments from 5pm, carols from 6pm
Price: Free

At the Community Church Ramsgate’s Christmas Carols, hear from a choir, a brass band as they play traditional carols.That’s not all there wil be a snow machine, with food and drink options, including mince pies and hot chocolate!

5.Christmas Trail, Santa & Afternoon Tea

Where: Chiddingstone Castle, Sevenoaks
When: 20th adn 21st December, 11am, 1.15pm and 3.30pm – food served 12Noon, 2:15pm and 4:30pm
Price: Child: £45 |*Child – 0-6 months: £15 |Adult: £40 – *0-6-month-old tickets include the Father Christmas Storytime, table visit, and gift, but do not include food. Booking fees apply
Parking: £3 – use the honesty boxes or the QR code on signs
At the magical Christmas celebration, the event includes a joyous Christmas Trail right around the castle, engaging festive craft activities, a delightful storytime with Father Christmas, plus an afternoon tea with him, and a truly personal visit with Santa, too! Also, a special goody bag gift awaits all children.

We have previously mentioned The Pantiles Christmas Market running until 24th December 2025, 11am to 8pm, and as the town has experienced a rather difficult month due to the water supply issues, we wanted to promote it again. Enjoy shopping at a range of stalls and don’t miss the chance to see and hop on board the land train, Rudolph Runner, who will be working from the 20th to 24th December, 10am-4pm.
