Leybourne Lakes Country Park is set in an old quarry site that offers a children’s play area and of course the lakes, with walks, water activities (Leybourne Lakes Watersports) in this 230 acre park. This Local Wildlife Site and an Area of Local Landscape Importance is a Green Flag Award winning park and Natural England accredited country park that has a range of activities, from walking, cycling, free parkruns, orienteering, fishing, ranger-led activities, and lots more. There are also a number of trails including a new interactive nature trail with rubbing plaques, as well as the Amazing Alders trail.

Accessible paths especially around The Ocean Lake which are hard surfaced and reasonably flat.
