Description

According to Woodland Trust, Ashenbank Wood in Gravesham has all bases covered with its spectacular show of bluebells in Spring. With ancient features to discover and fantastic views all year round, the Site of Special Scientific Interest in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also teeming with extraordinary wildlife. There are waymarked trail, and you can take an audio trail too.

Accessibility
Small sections of the paths have a stone or tarmac surface, but the majority of paths are grass and earth, which can get slippery and muddy when wet. There are some steep slopes on the western side of Ashbenbank Wood where some paths have dug-in steps. One waymarked circular trail, but not suitable for wheelchairs as fallen trees across the path.
