The Criterion Blue Town Heritage Centre has memorabilia and artefacts about the Isle of Sheppey, and has recently been awared museum status by the schewme run by scheme is run by Arts Council England. Accreditation. It is also home to The Criterion Music Hall, which fell into disrepair after a German bombing raid in World War II, that has been restoredover the last few years. The Hall hosts regular entertainment events and the venue is part of the Wheels of Time scheme.

Ramped entrance -the approach is cobbled and uneven. A platform lift serves all floors. Seating in the Music Hall is not fixed, so wheelchair users can be accommodated.
