Description

Whitstable Castle was first known as Tankerton Towers, originally the residence of the Pearson Family in the late 1790s, it is a Manor House estate with a rich and varied history.​ Having had a £3 million refurbishment, the Castle is now managed by the Whitstable Castle Trust. It has regular events during the year. Visitors can enjoy the gardens, and tours of the Castle, with lots of events throughout the year from fairs to children's trails.
