Description
Bingley means with a river and the Bingley Island Nature Reserve in the centre of Canterbury is encircled by the Stour and its tributaries, and once was used for grazing and now is a habitat for wildlife and for visitors to explore. It is one of four distinct areas that form Westgate Parks which includes Westgate Gardens, Toddlers Cove and Tannery Field (please see our separate listings on each for more details) and is near the Whitehall Meadows.
