Description

Darenth Country Park in Dartford is on the edge of the North Downs and includes a scheduled ancient monument, though little remains today, it was once the site of ancient Saxon burials and developed from the grounds of the former Darenth Asylum, as one of the Changing Places National Millennium Projects. Orchards, horse grazing paddocks, walking (surfaced and unsurfaced paths) and cycle paths with sculptures made by an artist, local schools, and community groups.
