Description
Sandy beach, that can be rocky in places when walking out to swim, is very popular with locals and is dog firendly. When the tide is out you can walk along to Ramsgate on the beach. There is a promenade that leads you to Louisa Bay and also to the main Broadstairs beach, Viking Bay

The slope down to the beach is very steep.
Parking
Free on Dumpton Gap Road and surrounding raods - gets very busy in high season.
Advisory Notes
Thanet Council advice: ‘to please be aware that where the cliffs are not protected by the stone promenade we advise against walking close to the bottom of the cliffs due to recent chalk falls’.
