The EM Forster Theatre is located in Tonbridge School in Tonbridge, West Kent. The theatre's main venue, which seats 380, was built in 2000. The EM Forster Studio is a more intimate setting for 80 people in a theatre or cabaret style. They also host shows in their outdoor amphitheatre space, seating up to 150 people on tiered stone seating. The venue showcases a range of productions, touring shows, live theatre, children's events, musicals, dance, comedy, talks, exhibitions, live screenings and lots more.

Accessibility
There are three Blue Badge signposted spaces available on a first come first served basis and room to drop off. Auditorium: The floor in the stalls of the auditorium is carpeted; there are no steps to Row H, which can accommodate a wheelchair at each end of that row. There is a lift up to the Circle and Circle foyer, but there are steps in the auditorium to all rows but row A. M Forster Studio: No steps, if it is laid out with tiered seating, can accommodate wheelchairs on the first row on the ground. To purchase wheelchair tickets, you are required to contact the Box Office. The hearing loop works best in the Stalls row D-K. It does not work in the Circle or in rows B & C or L & M in the stalls.

Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult; babies 24 months and under may be admitted free of charge for certain shows. No refunds unless a performance is cancelled - should a performance be sold out, the theatre can attempt to resell your ticket.
