Highlights at Hever Castle Gardens in Sevenoaks include snowdrop displays, their annual dazzling daffodil showcase and the celebration of Spring.
Snowdrop Walk
See the around 150,000 snowdrop bulbs that have been planted in the Gardens over the past few years. See a mix of single and double snowdrops, interspersed with some unusual varieties in the Winter Garden such as the yellow-tipped Wendy’s Gold. There is also a giant Galanthus called Colossus, which at 9 inches, is one of the tallest snowdrops you can find!
Dazzling Daffodils 2025
With close to 90,000 daffodil bulbs set to bloom across Hever Castle’s gardens this spring, feel uplifted by the cheerfulness of this exquisite bloom which symbolises new beginnings. There are also guided tours daily, and free flower arrangement sessions, using daffodils and foliage, during the weekdays.
Celebration of Spring 2025
With thousands of tulips, spring bedding, cherry and apple blossom galore, magnolias, early rhododendrons, hyacinths, camassias and bluebells, there’s much to celebrate in the grounds. Enjoy self-guided and guided tours providing a unique insight into the celebration of spring at Hever, and offering gardening tips and advice. You can also learn how to create a living wreath with spring flowers and foliage.

Dogs
Welcome on a lead at all times in the grounds. Except assistance dogs, dogs are not allowed inside the cafés, restaurants, shops, castle or play areas. There is a stand where dogs can be tied and left in the Castle Courtyard if you wish to visit the castle, but this is not supervised, and they are left at your own risk.
