Description
King George VI Memorial Park in Ramsgate is nestled on the coast between Ramsgate and Broadstairs and has lots of open spaces and woodland areas that are very popular with the locals all year round. If the tide is in it is part of the coastal walk between Broadstairs and Ramsgate. There is a children’s play area, with slides, swing and zip wire, and the Italianate Glasshouse.
Accessibility
There is a wide surfaced path that runs along the edge of the park is part of the Viking Coastal Trail, also popular with cyclists and wheelchair users, but the rest of the park is not accessible for those in wheelchairs.
