Description
Leading off from the main car park to the Shepardwell train station, part of the East Kent Railway is this historic military wood featuring lots of walks as well as a seasonal miniature railway. This over 350 year old woodland also contains a water tank that was once used to refill the steam engines and World War II trenches which are due to be restored, and a Ranger Station is planned to accommodate a small display of items found in this historical military woodlands.
