At Mote Park Watersports Centre, there are several water sports activities available, taster sessions, courses and lessons. Bring your own equipment or hire what you need. There are peddle boats and rowboats to hire for great family fun on the water. Memberships, courses and classes are also available, plus surfing, windsurfing, powerboat, and scuba diving.  Other activities for organised groups and schools, including raft building, bell boating and dragon boating.

Good To Know
All general hire is done on a first-come, first-served basis (unless you are a large group). The only exception to this is Boxing Day, which is bookings-only. Buoyancy Aids are free to borrow when hiring from the centre - there is a charge when using your own equipment.

About The Lake
The deepest part of the lake that the Mote Park Water Sports Centre uses is about 6ft deep: in the main, it is between 2 to 3 feet deep.

Parking
Parking at the centre at the Willington Street entrance is reserved for Staff, people with their own equipment or organised sessions or groups with the centre (with prior agreement). For general hire use parking, see our main Mote Park listing for details.
