River Himalayan Gardens in Sevenoaks has over 12 acres to explore in this family-run and historic garden. It features contemporary sculpture, woodland paths, an adventure play area, an explorer's escarpment, stunning views, and a tricky Himalayan Hedge Maze to escape from. Plus, lots of events throughout the season to enjoy.

Accessibility
Although the paths around the Walled Garden and Rock Garden are smoother and more even, the initial gravel and slope mean that the overall recommendation is not to use wheelchairs unless someone has checked the suitability beforehand for your particular needs/equipment. The upper level of the gardens is accessed via a steep and uneven pathway, so it is not suitable. Riverhill is not suitable for motorised scooters. The shop, cafe, and cafe terrace are accessible by wheelchair. However, please be aware that the entrance and disabled parking area are gravelled.
There is an accessible route marked on the map for those who prefer their paths smooth and even, available at the ticket office.

Top Top For Children
Little ones can pop up to the den building woods between 2pm and 4pm on a weekend or School Holiday, and see if they can track down our Yeti. They can also build dens in the woods.

Allowed in the gardens and welcome inside the Cafe. Not allowed in the play area.

Advisory Notes
Walled Garden will close early on selected dates - check before visiting for confirmed dates. You can take a picnic, but do not picnic on the Rose Walk, on the grass terraces in the Walled Garden, or use the cafe tables.
