Sheerness Shipwreck Adventure Golf is an Isle of Sheppey-themed adventure golf course filled with shipwrecks, treasure, and sea creatures that schoolchildren and locals helped to design. A large replica of the SS Montgomery is the centrepiece of the exciting new course, which features 18 holes celebrating the unique heritage and landmarks of the Island. According to Councillor Monique Bonney, chair of the Economy and Property Committee, “The heritage theme helps remind us of Sheppey’s diverse and rich history, and the golf will help re-cement Beachfields as a leisure destination."
The 18 holes' iconic elements of Sheppey also include a Wright plane, highlighting the early aviation history on the island, scorpion tails and a representation of the wall in Blue Town.
