In Faversham, take the Shepherd Neame Visitor Centre tour on the site of this independent English brewery founded in 1698. It has been family-owned since 1864, and the visitor centre offers award-winning guided tours where visitors can learn about the ancient art of brewing. See brewing and fermentation vessels, taste natural mineral water from the brewery’s well, and try some malted barley and smell locally-grown Kentish hops.

Accessibility
The visitor centre is accessible with the use of a portable ramp. The brewery features several steps and is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. However, a virtual tour can be provided – the venue requests that virtual tours be booked at least two weeks in advance of a visit.

Route 333 travels from Maidstone to Faversham via Sittingbourne every hour. Alight at Faversham Town Centre, Court Street. Under 1 minute walk.

Faversham- 3 minutes.
