Description
South Blean is a 329 hectares Ancient Woodland and the best time to visit is during the Spring to the Summer, where visitors can see a range of species and trees. These include buzzard, green woodpecker, nightingales, as well as English Oak and Common Beech. An extensive network of marked and unmarked trails including sections of the Big Blean Walk, but there may be sheep, cattle or goes grazing in Hunstead Wood, Court & Joan Beech Woods.

Parking
There is limited parking at Hunstead Wood on Primrose Hill at Chartham Hatch.
Dogs
Allowed on a lead where cattle grazing and not allowed in Hunstead Wood.
