Description

Set in Harty a small village on the Isle of Sheppey, the St Thomas the Apostle Church is a Grade II listed building from the 11th or 12th Century and still operates without electricity, adding to the experience of this church. Harty has been described by more than one writer as Kent's remotest church, according to Sheppey History UK.
