Description
Sunny Sands Beach is next to Folkestone Harbour and is a popular sandy beach, with lots of water sports such as bodyboarding, and is not only Folkestone's main sandy beach, but the only sandy beach within an hour of London. Jet Skis and Pleasure Craft are permitted but must be 200 metres from swimmers. A speed limit applies from 1 May- 30th September.
Advisory Notes
Local charity Folkestone Rescue volunteer as lifeguards, operating between 10am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays between April and September.
