Description

Temple Manor is a surviving 13th Century house that was built to provide lodgings and fresh horses for members of this order, on their way to and from the crusades. It was built by the Knights Templar, a military and religious order founded during the crusades and stands on an industrial estate. More details can be found on the English Heritage website, though the property is managed by Medway Council.
