The Swale National Nature Reserve is a grazing marsh that supports significant populations of waterfowl and is mainly a coastal grazing marsh. There is a 3 mail circular track starting at the car park, and also birdwatchers hut signposted from the sea wall footpath. It is run by the Elmley Conservation Trust who also run the Elmley Nature Reserve.
Reserve is relatively flat, though disabled and elderly visitors are advised to take care.
On lead at all times.
From Leysdown on Sea take the road south along the sea front to Muswell Manor then follow the rough track for 1 mile to the car park.
