Description

Located on 139 acres of beautiful English countryside, spattered with ancient Roman ruins overlooking the English Channel is this Medieval castle. Overlooking the English Channel the castle has a history that dates back to 1080 when the first of its many buildings was erected. Modern history boasts Mick Jagger who visited one of the infamous owners and Sir Paul McCartney who recorded The Wings album, Return to the Egg, in the Great Hall where weddings are now performed.
While Lympne Castle is not accessible to the general public; you can contact them for tours, and they occasionally open its doors for a pop-up restaurant evening, and special events like a Santa's Grotto, markets and bingo.
