Howletts Wild Animal Park

Rare & Endangered

Description

Howletts Wild Animal Park, in Bekesbourne, Canterbury, is home to over 390 animals, including Kent's only giant anteaters, the UK's largest herd of African elephants, gorillas, tigers, leopards, and monkeys. As part of The Aspinall Foundation, this conservation charity works to return animals to the wild - visiting here is about so much more than a day out.
There's plenty to see and do, from animal talks and feeding sessions to exploring the education centre and enjoying the beautiful parkland grounds. Howletts also has a sister park at Port Lympne, well worth a visit if you want to make the most of what Kent has to offer.
