Description
Witches, wizards and brave explorers can find some Halloween twigs and treats at Brockhill Country Park in Hythe this October half term. Follow the spooky Twig or Treat Trail to unlock mystery boxes, or join the Twig or Treat Spooktacular to carve a wooden pumpkin and cook a treat on the campfire. Little ones aged 5 and under have their own Little Explorers Spooky Special too.
Twig or Treat Trail: Collect your trail sheet from the Badger Room, then set off on a self-led spooky trail around the park's pathed blue route. Track down the mystery boxes hidden among the spooky decorations and unlock as many treats as you can, while avoiding the twigs! The trail is for children aged 2 to 11 and takes around 45 minutes.
Twig or Treat Spooktacular: Brockhill's 2026 Spooktacular. Under the rangers' guidance, children put their bushcraft skills to the test carving a wooden pumpkin to take home, then head out on the Twig or Treat Trail. It finishes in the Forest School, cosying up round the campfire with a hot chocolate and a sweet treat to cook over the flames. Suitable for children aged 2 to 11.
Little Explorers Spooky Special: A Halloween edition of the rangers' outdoor toddler group, with child-led play and forest school activities for walking pre-school children aged 5 and under. Refreshments for little ones and hot drinks for grown-ups are included.
