Calling all spooky explorers, pumpkin pickers, curious crows and mischievous monsters! This October half term, The Amelia in Tunbridge Wells runs free Halloween-themed Spook-Tober Discovery Days, with creepy crafts and spooky creations for children to drop in and enjoy. There is also a relaxed Discovery Day - Relaxed Opening session for autistic and neurodiverse visitors and their families. This features a sensory story, a movement activity led by This Is Us Dance, arts and crafts, and a 15-minute visit to the temporary exhibition just for participants.
Plus, a Messy Monday Halloween play session, with spooky potions, pumpkin-themed play and seasonal sensory activities. play session

Messy Monday: £7 per child, or £10 for two children.

Messy Monday: Monday 26th October 2026, 11am-12pm and 1.30pm-2.30pm

Accessibility Sessions
Relaxed Opening: Saturday 24th October 2026, 2pm-4pm, in The Green Room. Booking is essential, so email The Amelia to reserve a place and let them know about any sensory triggers or access needs. Parents and carers must stay with their children.

Good To Know
Parents and carers are expected to stay for the Messy Monday sessions, so dress for mess! The Amelia is also holding a Halloween Silent Disco on 31st October (separate ticket).
