On the Upper Mall, the show, produced by Assembly Hall Theatre, sees Fox in charge of planning the best Christmas party ever. However, when he cannot find the right decorations, Fox and his friends Squirrel, Old Deer and Little Owl hatch a harebrained plan to steal the beautiful golden star on top of the town’s Christmas tree. The Ice That Nearly Cancelled Christmas!

In this pantomime-like show, in the North Pole, the elves are working hard with their skills to ensure the festive gifts are all wrapped up in time before the big day. Mother Christmas is overseeing proceedings helped by her Head Elf, but is there some dark Christmas magic around that could thwart the presents being delivered for the 25th of December in time? The Ice Queen hates Christmas and so freezes Mother Christmas and the Elves. Can you help Father Christmas break the spell, rescue his wife and faithful Elves, and stop Christmas from being cancelled?
